I am owner/operator, trainer and instructor at TW FitZone. I have 25 years of experience in the health and fitness business having been certified by many organizations such as American Council on Exercise and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, as well as being certified as a Nutritional Counselor by American Association of Nutrition Counselors. I have taught everything from Spin, Body Pump, Step, Flow, Combat, Water Exercise, Sculpting, Circuit, GRAVITY, Boot Camps, and Running Training as well as private and semi-private training.
I am certified by ACE, AFAA, and ACSM. My mission is to make fitness fun and being healthy a habit.
At Pound of Prevention we take a more holistic approach to improving health care by recommending development goals specifically for women and adolescents—two population groups who face the biggest barriers to care and whose health is critical for overall development. Such an approach would allow for focus on the particular health challenges faced by women and young people, the contextual factors that can jeopardize their health and erect barriers to care, and the specific interventions needed for both prevention and treatment of health conditions.
