Slow Baked Winter Squash

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Pierce the Squash near the stem with a knife (to let steam escape)

  3. Place the Squash in a shallow pan with a little water in ti and bake for 50-60 min

  4. Cut Squash in half and scoop out seeds. Cut in half again and serve with peel on

Slow Roasted Winter Squash

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cut Squash in half and scoop out seeds.

  3. Place Squash with cut side down in a baking dish and bake for 45 min.

Healthy Steamed Butternut Squash (or any other)

  1. Fill the bottom of steamer with water and begin heating

  2. Cut Butternut Squash into 1 inch cubes

  3. Steam covered for 7 minutes. It should be tender, but still firm enough to hold shape

  4. Transfer to a bowl and toll with extra virgin olive oil, or coconut oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper while still hot.
